as a resort manager you will providesupport to the general manager in all the operation of theproperty, been responsible of the supervision of the room division,ensuring the high level of operation performance in all the areas,as well the good financial performance of the operation and as aconsequence, the guests and clients satisfaction.
key duties andresponsibilities - assist to the general manager to cover the hoteloperation when he is out of property.
- oversee the total operationof the property.
- conduct the arrivals meetings when the generalmanager is absent.
- organize and lead a weekly rooms divisionmeeting.
- inspect as many rooms as possible on a daily basis incoordination with executive housekeeper and chief engineer.
-supervise the room's preventive maintenance strategies along withchief engineer.
- develop and follow up on any capex projects thatpertain to rooms division.
- maintain complete knowledge of andcomply with all departmental policies, service procedures andstandards.
- ensure that standards are maintained at a superiorlevel on a daily basis.
- prepare the annuals rooms division budgetand ensure to accomplish the property goals of operation.
- assistin establishing and creating goals and strategies for both theoperational and financial success of the resort.
- responsible forachieving rooms division's departmental profit.
- ensure that alldepartments under his responsibility comply with annual trainingprograms.
- responsible for establishing and maintaining resortstandards in order to achieve and maintain luxury status.
- as amember of the management team, work closely with other team membersin achieving resort's goals and objectives.
- during appraisals,establish annual objectives for managers reporting to him.
-responsible for employee compliance with one&only resort'spolicies and procedures.
- interact in courteous and professionalmanner with all guests, staff and community members.
- supervise,direct, coordinate, and influence staff in order to maintainservice standards of resort.
- interact with people beyond givingand receiving instructions, particularly interaction withsupervisor, subordinates, co-workers, and guests in completingassignments, resolving staff and guest complaints.

about you - 5 years of experience in a similar position -full english & spanish skills.
