Job summary:
we are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a financial operations manager.
key responsibilities:
* develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
* oversee cash flow management, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and maintain accurate records of revenues and expenses.
* lead the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* direct the production of daily and monthly financial reports to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
* monitor capital planning and roi for improvements to enhance business performance.
* ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, tax regulations, licenses, permits, contracts, and legal obligations to minimize risk.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
* minimum 5 years of progressive finance management experience in a full-service organization.
* ability to create, implement, and monitor hotel and staff goals, strategies, and policies.
* proven ability to train, motivate, evaluate, mentor, and direct employees and managers.
* proficient understanding of computer systems such as opera, microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
