this position offers the opportunity to develop your career within our expandingtransaction servicespractice. Your responsibilities will include the following:perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for corporate clients
analyze financial and operational results of target companies and prepare quality earnings reports
evaluate financial information, identify diligence issues/opportunities, and recommend post-acquisition actions
research and analyze industry standards, trends, and target companies
work closely with client executives
financial transaction consulting to deliver quality earnings valuations for prospective buy-side/sell-side companies
developed highly efficient excel / financial modeling skills leading to meaningful, value-adding analysis
lead most client meetings, trend discussions with executives, and handle all other client communication required throughout the life of each deal
supervise and provide feedback to associates to drive development and efficiencies
conduct financial analysis on potential acquisition targets to derive normalized ebitda (quality of earnings)
work closely with american and mexican clientsqualification preferences:
bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
minimum of 5 years of related experience required
experience in transaction services in a professional services firm is preferred
must have the ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations
must have the ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously and learn new business quickly
strong project management/organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to large or small groups
self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills and marketing abilities required
