this is a wordpress developer/seo hybrid position.
we are looking for someone who can optimize our sites for organic conversions.
you'll work with diverse clients and own the process from build through deployment for every page.

the role
build pages in accordance with seo best practices (metadata, headers, alt text, interlinking, etc.).
technical seo creation and implementation with focus on schema and robots for aeo
qa all elements and ensure mobile-first layouts and indexation
fix broken links, misconfigured tags, crawl inefficiencies, etc.

you're ownership-driven—give you a content map and a copy doc, and you'll run with it.

you're client-ready—you can explain a canonical issue to a non-technical client.
skills & experience
must-haves:
+3 years of hands-on experience with wordpress and front-end development.
on-page seo: titles, meta, headings, alt text, and internal linking.
json-ld schema experience using schema.org and the rich results test.
solid understanding of crawlability, indexability, canonicalization, and core web vitals.
nice-to-haves:
experience with webflow, wix, shopify, or straight html sites.
familiarity with ga4, google tag manager, and search console workflows.
some knowledge of local seo and google business profile workflows.
