Job description
amazon is seeking a shift station manager based in san luis potosi, mx. This role involves daily oversight of a delivery station, ensuring safety, service quality, customer experience, and department productivity.
key responsibilities
* review operational forecast, determine productivity requirements, and manage a team group to meet all building goals.
* support all safety programs and maintain a safe work environment for associates and delivery service providers.
* proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and lean tools.
* lead change at an innovative pace, manage daily operations, and coordinate with dsps and their drivers.
* receive, scan, lift and move shipments up to 25 kg and route shipments within the amzl coverage area.
* assign jobs and support process assistants.
* track and monitor sorting operation and driver dispatch.
* stand or walk an average of 5 miles daily and work in construction or distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, or unair‑conditioned.
basic qualifications
* bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
* at least 2 years of employee and performance management experience.
* at least 2 years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
* fluent spoken and written english.
preferred qualifications
* over 1 year of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
