About the role the new projects quality engineer ensures flawless launches by planning, organizing, and controlling all apqp/ppap activities under our npis framework. You will coordinate cross‐functional teams, manage customer‐specific requirements and portals, and drive timing, cost, and quality deliverables for new business introductions. Responsibilities lead and administer apqp across all stages for new automotive programs, aligning internal procedures with customer‐specific requirements. Keep apqp and ppap deliverables up to date; meet program milestones, feasibility assessments, and risk analyses. Build and coordinate multidisciplinary teams; work with engineers to complete control plans, pfmea, and process flow diagrams. Prepare executive summaries, presentations, and kpis to review status and results. Support sales managers, sales engineers, and applications engineering in decision‐making for new business implementation. Maintain customer requirements in files/portals; understand aiag core tools. Meet deadlines for ppap, prototype samples, and project stages defined by customers and corporate. Track project performance in terms of capex, timing, and quality; report progress in customer meetings. Analyze implementation scenarios (time, investment, capacity, technology) to ensure robust launches. Liaise with planning, process engineering, and product design to validate safe, capable, and efficient production methods. Record all project documentation in the designated electronic route and comply with code of conduct, ctpat, and hse training. Qualifications bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered. 2–3 years of experience in quality/project roles (automotive experience desirable). English 85% (spoken and written). Required skills core tools proficiency: fmea (pfmea), control plans, spc, msa, apqp. Knowledge of iatf 16949; internal auditor certification desirable. Vda 6.3 knowledge (desirable). Project management experience (microsoft project; pm certification a plus). Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies: lean, tpm, 6s, smed, kaizen. Sap/xa exposure (desirable). Strong communication, organization, risk management, and teamwork skills. Preferred skills green belt or black belt certification. Experience coordinating cross‐functional launch teams and customer reviews. Ability to build kpi dashboards and executive updates. Customer‐oriented approach and continuous‐improvement mindset.
