who you'll work with you'll join the product, practice and knowledge (ppk) department as part of the knowledge management team and you'll work with a variety of different practices at bain, broadening your skillset and leveraging industry knowledge across various industries and capabilities.

aerospace, defense and government servicesairlinesautomotive and mobilityb2b servicesbuilding products & construction materialslogistics & transportmachinery & equipmentmetalswhat you'll do equip partners in the firm and consulting staff with relevant expertise and resource recommendationsprovide value-added front-line support to case teams by sharing curated "best of" bain content, experience and perspectivesdentify and connect experts within the bain network to consulting teamscollaborate with our information services or practice centers of excellence, to collectively provide consultants the best consolidated view of our internal and external knowledgedevelop and package summary documents and provide updated or bespoke analysislead the capture and sharing of the practice knowledge basecapture and process knowledge onto our global intranet platform from client development and case team effortscoordinate with other knowledge specialists to identify cross practice content priorities and identify gaps in the knowledge basecommunicate with case teams and practice affiliates to understand work and solicit most relevant contentmanage metadata to facilitate user searching.
manage inputs to improve advanced analytics and ai outputpackage and codify our best thinking into insightscollaborate with practice team members to fill content gaps through new product development and deploymentmanage and maintain practice page(s) on the intranet; ensuring our best materials are represented and sharedoversee knowledge associate in managing and maintaining the knowledge baseuse ai tools to accomplish portions of the role.
experiment with new and existing ai tools to improve work processescontribute to the development and execution of the practice strategyanalyze, understand and interpret underlying drivers of practice performancesupport content planning and logistics for annual practice meetingsdrive practice affiliate engagement, including preparation for experience-sharing calls and publicationsactively contribute to the practice and broader ppk teamparticipate in (and sometimes lead) global team trainings, group projects, experience sharing, mentoring, and other initiativesassign, review, and provide feedback on junior practice member's work, who are often located in another bain office.
manage day to day workplan for junior team members and provide coaching and developmentabout you ba or equivalent undergraduate degree with strong academic credentialspreferred 3+ years of professional experienceyou're intellectually curious with an interest and/or prior experience within any of the 10 ams industry sectors you have strong analytical abilities and experience bringing innovative and 'outside the box' approaches to problem solvingyou enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment, and you have the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesattentive to detail and very organized.
