Job title: supply chain specialist
this role requires an individual with a strong background in supply chain management, including material planning and inventory metrics.
responsibilities:
* plan for prevention of excess inventory and 'stock outs'
* monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modifications
* work with all levels of personnel in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage
* manage purchase order request process for warehouse needs
* keep control and good tracking of expenses related to material consumption and logistics needs per project
required skills and qualifications:
* bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / ged with at least 2 years of experience)
* english language proficiency
