by aligning and streamlining our work, our integrated diagnostic solutions (ids) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation in everything from integrated sample management to diagnostic solutions. The ids unit is seeking a cost optimization program leader to lead the portfolio of cost reduction programs and projects for the advanced access devices (aad) platform, ensuring continuous cost improvement without compromising product quality or customer experience.
responsibilities
* manage cost excellence programs across oem network and reynosa manufacturing site.
* collaborate across functions and regions to meet cost targets and bd requirements.
* partner with commercial team to define cost-per-unit targets.
* identify future state for each product considering cost, capabilities, and structure.
* track cost efficiency and propose bom changes for profitability.
* develop a pipeline of asr projects to meet or exceed cost targets.
* demonstrate accountability for operational, financial, and program success.
* lead with innovation, influence, and change management skills.
* perform other duties aligned with strategic priorities.
requirements
* bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering; graduate degree preferred.
* 4–7 years of experience in manufacturing and/or continuous improvement.
* experience with design control processes, risk management, and manufacturing validation.
* strong communication, influence, and leadership skills.
* proficiency in manufacturing financials and project management.
* certifications like pmi, six sigma, lean, or agile are preferred.
