*main purpose*
global business services (gbs) organization has been established to provide efficient and effective services to pepsico businesses globally, for all sectors, with a great user experience. To enable this purpose, esm is implementing multiple technology platforms, including servicenow, as a service delivery platform across multiple business functions and ecosystem capabilities, as well as governing the foundational data, service standards and experience for service delivery.
the gbs / esm pmo lead will be the primary connection point between gbs and function priorities, and the esm team. This role will work closely with other workstreams and areas including monitoring of work with functions (e.g., hr, finance planning, sales, marketing, insights, it, control, procurement), sectors, hubs, change management, consulting partners, and several key enabler workstreams (e.g., enabling hr, finance).
*this role will be responsible for ensuring priorities and roadmaps are aligned across gbs teams, functions and sectors, and keeping stakeholders aware of the impact the esm program will have on their roadmaps. The role will also help manage interdependencies for the esm program in light of gbs transformation and help drive the strategic esm assessment and intake process for functions. The role also will perform all project management responsibilities for broader gbs strategy and transformation portfolio and its interdependencies with esm, including: executive status reporting, project plan, risk management, key decision documentation, and management of interdependencies.*
*the scope of the role is not bound by the global business services function, its remit is enterprise wide and includes all services that are not provided by gbs to enable a consistent user experience.*
*accountabilities*
communications and stakeholder management
- facilitate communication between gbs, ecosystem, digital factory and other teams to review status and mitigate risks for implementation
- conduct relationship management with over 6+ esm coe workstreams and 10+ global stakeholders across numerous gbs, it, and external implementation partners
- develop executive-level status reports, presentations, and briefings that articulate esm and gbs vision and project status
transformation
- manage relationship between esm, function and design leads to inform esm roadmap. Act as strategic partner to influence function roadmaps to be aligned with esm standards/frameworks as appropriate
- perform strategic and data analysis to offer business insights for senior leadership in decision-making
- drive the gbs portfolio agenda to ensure cross-functional teams are on track to deliver program, expected benefits and intervene/escalate as necessary to address roadblocks. Work with esm and ecosystem teams to identify potential cross-functional synergies and opportunities for improved efficiency across the servicenow platform
- define and manage assess, design and onboarding process for functions joining esm program
- collaborate with esm, gbs and functional leadership to develop strategic roadmap, incorporating timelines, deliverables and dependencies for critical milestones across multiple key workstreams in the program including change management, communications, it, process excellence, and functional areas (e.g., hr, finance planning, sales, marketing, insights, control, procurement)
- develop and deploy tools and strategies to drive efficiencies across the program. Accountable for making decisions and identifying areas to improve efficiency in the program.
- influence, collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional teams of varying senior levels within the organization to ensure successful realization of esm coe program goals and deliverables. Provide consultation that impacts the global program including overall gbs agenda.
