*about the role*:
this is a cross-functional role for a proactive team player who can engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders, translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, and ensure that our solutions meet quality expectations through thoughtful, structured testing.
*what you'll do*
business analysis responsibilities
- serve as the bridge between business stakeholders (internal and external) and the technical development team
- conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs to gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements
- translate business needs into clear, concise user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- create and maintain brds, functional specs, wireframes, and process maps
- collaborate with product owners and developers to clarify requirements and validate feasibility
- participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions to ensure priorities are aligned with business goals
quality analysis responsibilities
- develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing
- confirm software delivers on the defined business requirements and acceptance criteria
- assist in uat planning and coordination with client stakeholders
- log and track defects using tools like azure devops and jira
- perform root cause analysis on identified defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
- support release validation processes in test and production environments
*required skills & qualifications*
- 3+ years in a combined or split business analyst and/or quality analyst role
- excellent english communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to simplify complex topics
- strong experience writing detailed requirements documentation and acceptance criteria
- knowledge of agile methodologies (scrum, kanban) and working in iterative development cycles
- experience creating and executing test cases based on business requirements
- familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., azure devops, jira, zephyr, testrail)
- ability to manage multiple priorities and interface effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- comfortable leading client meetings and managing expectations in real-time
