Job description summary
location: mexico city #hybrid
as a sourcing manager for real estate facilities services, you will lead the delivery of projects outlined in the annual category plan. Your responsibilities include requirements gathering, market analysis, supplier qualification and selection in collaboration with business partners, as well as managing non-sourcing initiatives such as demand management and process improvements.
major accountabilities:
1. implement global category strategy locally or execute the sourcing business plan for your area of responsibility, deploying the global strategy at the site level.
2. supervise sourcing plan implementation for your sub-category and achieve savings targets through engagement in target setting processes.
3. contribute to category segmentation and identify key supplier relationships; directly control purchases related to supplier selection, timing, and commercial conditions, depending on division controls.
4. manage strategic supplier relationships within your sub-category, establish kpis, and report on supplier performance.
5. gather supplier feedback from divisions, countries, sites, category teams, and business partners; deliver procurement metrics via the balanced scorecard for your sub-category.
6. address supplier performance risks and issues promptly to ensure end-user satisfaction.
minimum requirements:
* experience in vendor management, especially with large global vendors
* at least 5 years in a similar role, with specific experience in refs
* proficiency in data analysis across novartis platforms/systems
* project management skills
* proven ability to identify and deliver value creation projects
* strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across multiple business units
* fluent in english
* excellent stakeholder management capabilities
