are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? As a network security senior consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and securing complex network environments for our clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, leveraging your expertise in advanced network security technologies and best practices. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by advising clients, solving challenging security issues, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement—all within a supportive, collaborative environment.
responsibilities
* lead the design, implementation, and administration of advanced network security solutions, including firewalls, web application firewalls (waf), secure web gateways (swg), and zero trust network access (ztna) technologies.
* analyze network architectures and traffic flows to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements, leveraging deep knowledge of zero trust and defense-in-depth principles.
* perform advanced troubleshooting and packet analysis to resolve complex network security issues and optimize security device performance.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, document, and enforce network security policies and best practices.
* provide subject matter expertise on technologies such as palo alto firewalls, zscaler/netskope, and palo alto prisma url filtering.

qualifications
required
* bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 4+ years of hands-on experience in network security roles
* strong understanding of network architectures, protocols, and security concepts (e.g., zero trust, defense in depth)
* proven experience with troubleshooting, packet analysis, and network security device administration
preferred
* experience with palo alto firewalls, wafs, zscaler/netskope (swg proxy), palo alto prisma url filtering, and ztna using netskope
* relevant certifications (e.g., pcnse, cissp, ccnp security)
* experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
* excellent communication and documentation skills
