Our client, a leading supplier of food products and kitchen equipment to luxury hotels and restaurants in mexico, is seeking a sales agent. This role will be responsible for promoting, advising, and closing sales of the products or services offered by the company, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, and achieving commercial goals, market coverage, and the profitability of the organization.the ideal candidate must be a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a focus on results, possessing experience in selling food products or mass-consumption goods. They must have the ability to identify commercial opportunities and negotiate with different types of clients within the hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors. They are expected to be organized, customer-oriented, with knowledge of the local market, willing to travel, and possess a firm, ethical commercial attitude with a vision for growth.salary: $20,000.00 mxn monthly + statutory benefits + possibility of commissionother benefits: gasoline allowance and discounts/preferential prices on products marketed by the company. Responsibilities:identify and contact new prospects through visits, calls, or referrals.manage the database of potential and current clients.provide clear and detailed information about products, services, promotions, and commercial conditions.identify client needs and offer appropriate solutions.prepare quotes, negotiate prices and commercial conditions.close sales, generate orders, and follow up on deliveries and payments.maintain post-sale contact with the client to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.address customer complaints, questions, or returns in a timely manner.achieve monthly, quarterly, and/or annual sales targets established by the organization.participate in follow-up meetings, sales meetings, training sessions, and product presentations.register orders in internal systems.prepare activity reports, sales reports, and projections.manage client relationships professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.identify client needs and implement adapted and/or personalized commercial solutions.resolve problems and conflicts with clients efficiently and professionally.collaborate closely with operations and finance departments, as well as any other necessary department, to ensure alignment of strategies.effectively communicate market needs and client feedback.qualifications:high school diploma completed. University degree in marketing, administration, or related fields is desirable.minimum three years of sales experience, preferably in consumer products.knowledge of the english language (oral and written).knowledge of sales techniques, negotiation, and customer service.excellent oral and written communication.effective communication, persuasion, organization, proactivity, and results orientation.must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
