microsoft americas enterprise and industries finance team is looking for a senior finance field manager/cfo for mcsa with strong analytical and communication skills, business acumen and thought leadership to support and drive our financial rhythm and growth ambitions for the mcsa operating unit ($1.5b+ revenue).
in microsoft americas enterprise & industries finance team, we drive shareholder value in 54 subsidiaries & 120 sales locations and carry the local accountability for financial as well as statutory and compliance matters across all microsoft commercial segments and products. Microsoft americas is the largest of 3 regions of microsoft commercial business that covers the us, canada and latam and generates over 50% of worldwide revenue. The microsoft latam‑mcsa operating unit is a multi‑country operating unit that includes +30 countries and 3 subregions/atus.
as the senior finance field manager/cfo for mcsa you will support microsoft's commercial growth through deep financial analytics & insights in a key growth region. The role serves as the cfo for part and functions of the mcsa operating unit, and partners with the operating unit leadership team. You will have the opportunity to develop your financial analysis, product insights, business partnerships, and communication skills, while driving impact across the business and functions in a wonderful emerging market multi‑country geography.

 * provide actionable insights to the business to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results
 * support cfo forecast and budgeting process to land growth commitments with clear assumptions and drivers, understand and manage business risk

 * communicate results and insights to senior leadership in a compelling and crisp manner with deep understanding of the business
 * drive actions with stakeholders to achieve business goals including revenue generation, resource allocation, and investment decisions through close collaboration
 * lead ongoing efforts to develop and evolve our insights framework with key partners across finance and business to stay up to date with the business need and land growth opportunity

 * ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes; drive corrective measures. Consult with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies
 * collaborate with compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures
qualifications
required qualifications
 * master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, data science or related field and 4+ years' experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance
 * or bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, data science or related field and 6+ years' experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance or related field or equivalent experience
 * business level fluency to read, write and speak english and spanish
additional or preferred qualifications
 * 1+ years' experience with emerging markets and/or latin america experience
 * 4+ years' experience in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, and developing financial models.
 * proven team player and collaborator who has demonstrated strong energy in ambiguous situations. Ability to handle a high degree of ambiguity, and fast paced change management
 * strong attention to detail and accuracy
 * strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple groups, responsive with strong customer service orientation
