Job title: finance managerlocation: mexico city report to: finance business partner (headquarters) job summary: out client is seeking a highly responsible and proactive finance manager to join the mexico team. The finance manager will be in charge of local financial reporting, tax compliance, banking matters, and coordination with external auditors and tax authorities. This is a critical role ensuring the company's local financial operations are compliant, accurate, and efficient.key responsibilities: prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with mexican gaap and group requirements lead all local reporting to hq and external authorities (sat etc.) Manage and execute tax declarations and filings (iva, isr, diot, annual returns, etc.) Ensure proper cash flow planning, bank reconciliations, and payment processing maintain and optimize relationships with local banks; lead new account openings and banking operations coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and legal counsel to ensure full compliance keep up to date with changes in mexican tax and accounting regulations handle internal control implementation and improvementsrequirements: bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, or related fields at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in internet or financial services industries strong knowledge of mexican tax laws, sat reporting, and financial regulations proficiency in microsoft excel and accounting software experience with banking operations and institutional communication fluent in english; proficiency in chineses preferred cpa (contador público certificado) is a pluspreferred qualities: independent and self-driven strong attention to detail and responsibility able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
