responsibilities:
* as jr. Supply chain analyst, you’ll be responsible for managing the purchasing of poles via an off-site vendor. This role will support the poles supply chain leader in fulfilling customer orders for both quick ship and mto poles programs.
* supplier order management leader (primary responsibility): manage the end-to-end supply chain for bfr poles and accessories product lines; ensure day-to-day bfr orders with suppliers are current within sap, providing customer service with visibility to dating and tracking information; maintain engineering change orders with updates to purchase orders, expediting, dating, and invoicing in collaboration with the poles and accessories technical lead; negotiate pricing improvements with procurement commodity management when order quantities exceed supplier price guidance; interface with customer service on order types (quick ship, ship direct, stock); maintain material and purchasing master data.
* purchasing maintenance (secondary responsibility): primary back-up for the supply chain leader for poles - over all purchasing activity in the event the lead resource is out; support automation and process improvements, such as edi; reconcile changes in shipping locations or delivery issues with customer service and suppliers.
