you are:
we are seeking a highly skilled and proactive devops engineer to join our team and drive operational excellence across our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with azure kubernetes service (aks), azure cloud services, monitoring tools, and ci/cd automation. This role requires strong technical ownership, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
the opportunity:
* administer and configure aks for containerized application deployments
* set up and manage monitoring dashboards, s, and anomaly detection using datadog or similar apm tools
* manage and secure azure services including app services, vnet, and implement security best practices
* build and maintain ci/cd pipelines using azure devops
* investigate incidents, document findings, and implement preventive measures
* translate technical requirements into actionable execution plans and deliver results
* communicate progress, challenges, and gather feedback from stakeholders; ability to coordinate with both onsite and offshore teams.

what you need:
* strong proficiency in azure services and azure devops
* hands-on experience with aks and infrastructure monitoring tools
* excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* proven ability to manage priorities and execute tasks independently
* scripting experience (powershell) ; similar can be considered.
* familiarity with infrastructure as code (terraform or arm templates) – nice to have
* preferred attributes:
* strong collaboration and communication skills
* demonstrated ownership and follow-through on technical tasks
* ability to work independently and proactively manage devops initiatives
* experience working with distributed teams and nearshore collaboration
* ability to shift schedule based on urgency
