we are currently seeking a *document controller *, reporting directly to project engineer to join our team based in ensenada, baja california, mexico.
*about the job*
ensures that project documentation is properly captured, cataloged and controlled using project applied systems.
prepares reports and fix identified problems.
- creates customer records and document numbers as required and prepare documents for transmittal to client according to project specific procedures
- controls all technical documentation related to department and project activities within contractual requirements and company procedures (including confidentiality)
- handles and registers all outgoing and incoming transmittals according to project document control procedure
- participates in meetings, as required
- checks document and transmittal quality according to check list for document control
- manages supplier documentation
- collects information for reports

we'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- high school diploma (professional / technical diploma preferred)
- up to 2 years of experience in similar role
- professional english
- accuracy and attention to detail
- capable of following instructions and performing tasks as defined in relevant procedures
