About our customs compliance role
we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a customs compliance specialist. This role will involve reviewing customs documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing relationships with government agencies.
key responsibilities:
* reviewing customs documentation, including af, in, rt, v1, f4, and f5 forms
* managing mx customs compliance activities for immex, prosec programs, and vat certification
* calculating mx and us duties
* carrying out government procedures, including vucem, sat, and ministry of economy requirements
* controlling annex 24 and 30 data and breaking down complex information
* reviewing, attending, and following up on sat audits
* maintaining knowledge of harmonized tariff schedule (hts codes) legal basis and classification
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in international business, foreign trade, logistics, or customs administration
* at least 2 years of experience in immex company
* english language proficiency at 75% or higher (mandatory)
