As a
technical account manager-upstream, you will be responsible for developing opportunities and executing strategies to drive growth in the
production chemicals sector, while expanding our market share across the energy industry. You will possess a strong background in production chemicals or upstream oil and gas, both from a commercial and technical standpoint, and with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with customers and businesses in this industry.

Working in close collaboration with senior director – production/upstream and regional teams; inclusive of market intelligence, early engagement, sales, technical sales, accounts, and commercial strategy. Providing regular updates on account performance,
market trends, and growth opportunities
to senior management. Developing opportunities and
executing strategies
to drive growth utilizing regional partner network, while targeting other potential customers in the upstream chemicals sector to increase market presence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our customers. Building and
maintaining strong relationships
with our partners and enabling them to grow their businesses. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth. Coordinating chemical sampling,
testing and analysis, and supporting technical projects and chemical trials supporting day to day production chemistry for clients’ assets, interfacing with the relevant client functions and departments coordinating laboratory work scopes, providing technical assistance to support customer accounts managing chemical supply, stock projections and relevant forecasting
qualifications have minimum 5 - 10 years of technical support / account management / business development experience in
upstream or production chemicals industry. Have proven track record of successfully managing and growing major key accounts. Have excellent network and existing relationships with key decision-makers within the targeted customer base. Have excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies. Be proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving and driving growth. Have good commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both internal and external stakeholders. Must be bilingual (english & spanish)
