the tyvek business is looking for a personal protection equipment (ppe) technical specialist, based in mexico city.the ppe technical specialist will provide expert technical support for dupont's personal protection tyvek business in latin america, with a primary focus on mexico. This role is critical in delivering technical solutions to customers and customer-facing teams, supporting product certifications, and enhancing the value proposition of our products through data generation and testing.
key responsibilities:
* customer support:
* provide technical assistance to customers and internal customer-facing functions.
* act as a trusted advisor for product performance, application, and compliance.
* technical data & testing:
* generate and analyze technical data to strengthen product value propositions.
* support internal and external testing processes for certification steps.
* training & education:
* deliver technical training sessions for internal teams and customers.
* develop training materials and ensure knowledge transfer across stakeholders.
* collaboration & communication:
* work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
* maintain strong communication channels with regional and global teams.
* travel:
* regional travel required 50% to support customers and certification activities.
qualifications:
* education:
* diploma or degree in chemical engineering (or related field).
* skills & competencies:
* strong technical knowledge in personal protective equipment and related standards.
* excellent communication and presentation skills.
* ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach.
* experience:
* previous experience in technical support or product certification preferred.
* language:
* proficiency in spanish and english required.
