as a senior channel excellence analytics specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing expertise in driving data-driven insights and analytics to optimize operational efficiency and improve decision-making within the channel excellence team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to address business challenges and develop analytical solutions. Your ability to translate complex data into actionable insights will be key in ensuring data integrity and accuracy at advanced materials. You will report directly to our sr director channel excellence, and you will work out of our monterrey location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, your work will improve decision making in the business, optimize processes, increase cost savings, and improve customer satisfaction.
*key responsibilities*
- drive the successful execution of a comprehensive data strategy for the channel excellence team, including data collection, storage, and maintenance, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- utilize statistical and data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from channel data, providing actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- collaborate with various teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align channel analytics with overall business goals and strategies.
- identify and implement advanced analytics tools and technologies to support data visualization, reporting, and monitoring of channel performance.
- drive a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing and optimizing channel processes, identifying areas for automation and efficiency gains.
- proactively identify and mitigate channel risks through data analysis, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
- provide coaching and expert guidance to your colleagues and teams you work with using your extensive background in channel analytics.
*you must have*
- minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field
- bachelor's degree
- advanced english skills
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., python, r, sql, etc.)
- experience with data visualization tools (e.g., tableau, power bi, etc.)
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
