Logistics account executive
position summary
as an mvt logistics account executive, you will manage a group of existing accounts to build strong, long-term relationships with key contacts, onboard new accounts, and develop creative solutions. This position is responsible for managing and growing existing accounts by expanding service offerings with a focus on increasing efficiency, adding value, and maximizing profitability.
main responsibilities
* serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, developing long-term relationships.
* ensure clients receive requested services in a timely manner and oversee successful completion of daily commitments.
* manage multiple clients simultaneously, always meeting deadlines.
* oversee projects within client relationships, aligning client goals with company objectives.
* stay informed of changes in customers' businesses to identify new opportunities and design supply chain solutions while growing business relationships.
* manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of metrics.
* collaborate with the sales team to reach prospective clients.
* organize and coordinate the broker aspects of assigned shipments by managing and communicating with carriers.

* 3 years of comparable experience in the logistics/transportation industry.
