the "customer service representative" will be based in ·····, reporting to .......
this role will be in charge of communicating with customers and addressing customer inquiries.
responsibilities
appropriately utilize system applications and resources to accurately and effectively provide comprehensive, high-quality services for all customer needs.
handle inquiries, resolve customer problems and complaints with care and efficiency, and strive for one-call resolution.
maintain customer service standards during high-pressure situations such as increased call volume or limited resources.
interpret customer needs, recognize symptoms, causes and solutions.
identify situations requiring further explanation or training and provide a solution for the customer as needed.
demonstrate clear speaking and writing skills in english, minimizing jargon to ensure customer comprehension.
track relevant metrics and drive action items based on kpi results.
coordinate orderboard, rma, cma, ar, otd, sales and export processes.
sox controls, knowledge validation, prices, incoterms, terms of payment and agreements.
coordinate with warehouse and logistics regarding shipments following customer instructions, understanding incoterms and import records.
coordinate production and delivery planning with various operational areas to support the client's requisitions and exceed expectations.
monitor customer demand, receive purchase orders, and coordinate with material and production control for priority models.
knowledge of edi, cto, bto, btf, bilateral and triangular invoicing processes.
create cmf, mrf and pqr documentation as required.
participate in cft, operations and customer meetings.
qualifications
typically requires a bachelor's degree (ba or bs) or equivalent work experience.
typically requires 5 years' experience in a customer service-related position.
