Intern – warranty analysis
the intern – warranty analysis supports the quality team in managing and analyzing customer warranty returns. This role includes tracking parts, performing preliminary failure analysis, and assisting in testing activities for new projects. The intern contributes to data organization, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while gaining hands‑on experience in quality processes.
responsibilities
* support the management and tracking of customer warranty returns.
* perform preliminary analysis of returned parts and document findings.
* maintain and update the warranty database, including failure modes.
* assist in initial testing of parts related to new projects.
* generate basic reports and trend analysis for warranty data.
* collaborate with the quality team in root cause analysis activities.
* ensure proper organization and handling of physical warranty parts.
qualifications
* currently pursuing a degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or related field.
* basic knowledge of quality principles (apqp, problem‑solving tools such as a3 or 8d is a plus).
* analytical mindset and attention to detail.
* basic to intermediate english (mainly written).
* basic excel skills (pivot tables and macros are a plus).
* organized, proactive, and willing to learn.
