about the role
we seek a strategic and analytical pricing manager to lead initiatives optimizing distributor pricing, enhancing brand profitability, and value perception. This role manages the entire price cascade—from recommended retail prices to net distributor prices—and collaborates closely with finance, sales, and marketing to align with our commercial strategy.
key responsibilities
control of tariff positioning & margin
* analyze sell-in data, pricing cascade, and 3net profitability.
* define pricing strategies by brand and category, including setting minimum 3net prices.
* ensure alignment between pricing policy and recommended consumer prices.
* develop dashboards to monitor pricing performance and profitability.
* share monthly pricing summaries with sales and finance teams.
* translate insights into actionable pricing recommendations and corrective plans.
* implement strategies to increase margins and overall profitability.
* support pricing consistency across channels and enforce minimum pricing strategies.
strategic tools & competitor monitoring
* develop tools to analyze and compare price levels between pierre fabre and competitors: nominal price, promotional price, client margin.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field.
* minimum 5 years experience in pricing, finance, or related roles.
* proficiency in excel and pricing tools; knowledge of ai-based pricing tools is a plus.
* experience in dermocosmetics or pharmaceuticals is advantageous.
* strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
* flexibility to adapt to changing business environments.
