*the opportunity*:
join a dynamic and hands-on role at the heart of innovation and execution in the *biscuits latam* category.
you will be responsible for *developing and implementing new product and technology processes* that deliver *differentiated designs*, ensure *flawless execution*, and support *local and regional productivity and brand maintenance initiatives*.
this role offers exposure to both *pilot centers and manufacturing plants*, with an average of *2 weeks of travel per month*, locally and internationally.
*your impact*:
as *r&d sr engineer* your responsibilities will include:
- leading scale-up and commissioning stages for new product initiatives aligned with the annual strategic plan of biscuits pmf for the following technologies and platforms:
- _ marshmallow_
- _ coated products_
- _ fruit fillings_
- _ rotary molding_
- _ oat flours & iqo´s_
- _ wirecut_
- _ decorated products_
- designing processes and defining operating parameters to ensure consistent and scalable product delivery, while providing technical documentation for manufacturing.
- translating concepts and prototypes into industrialized products to support the aop (annual operating plan) and sdd (strategic deep dive) agendas.
- executing pilot plant trials to simulate production processes, resolve issues early, and accelerate scaling and line launches.
- conducting technical assessments with co-manufacturers to explore new technologies and support innovation industrialization.
- contributing to equipment selection and purchasing decisions for both new and traditional biscuit technologies.
- supporting the latam operations team (cookies, crackers, and grains) in brand maintenance and commissioning of new operational units and full line replacements.
qualifications:

- bachelor's degree or engineering in *food sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, or related fields*.
*experience*:
- * 1-2 years* of experience in manufacturing plants, with exposure to *equipment management and industrial product development* preferred.
- open to *recent graduates* with strong academic foundations and fresh technical knowledge.
- * fluent english* and ability to communicate ideas clearly.
- passion for *innovation and digital tools* (e.g., copilot, power bi, power apps).
- a *proactive and curious mindset*, ready to work with diverse teams across latam.

- willingness to travel up to *50% of the time*, both locally and internationally.
