By combining cutting-edge ai technology with a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, we provide tools and insights that enable impactful teams to focus on what truly matters: making the world a better place.role overviewas a business development representative (bdr) – outbound at vee, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth by proactively reaching out to nonprofit organizations and opening doors for our account executive (ae) pods. Each bdr works directly alongside a small pod of aes, forming a tight, collaborative unit where your success directly fuels their pipeline. This role is 100% outbound-focused—you’ll be the spearhead of new nonprofit partnerships, introducing vee’s ai solutions to organizations that may not yet know the power of what we offer.this is a full-time, hybrid position designed for a highly motivated, resilient, and mission-driven individual who thrives on sparking conversations and building relationships from the ground up.key responsibilitiesoutbound prospecting: identify and research high-potential nonprofit organizations through databases, associations, events, and social platforms.engagement & outreach: initiate conversations via cold calls, emails, linkedin, and creative channels to generate interest in vee’s solutions.lead qualification: assess needs, challenges, and fit of nonprofit prospects, securing high-quality meetings for your ae pod.partnership with aes: collaborate closely with your assigned ae pod to ensure smooth handoffs, effective feedback loops, and joint strategies that optimize conversion.pipeline contribution: consistently deliver on activity and meeting targets to build strong, qualified pipelines that drive arr growth.crm & reporting: accurately document all outreach, conversations, and qualification details in hubspot (or crm) for full visibility.market intelligence: share feedback and insights from your outreach to help refine messaging, targeting, and overall go-to-market strategies.what you bringsales drive: 1–2 years of outbound sales, business development, or sdr/bdr experience (saas or nonprofit tech a plus).outbound hustle: proven ability to cold call, cold email, and creatively break into new accounts.excellent communication: clear, confident, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.collaboration mindset: enjoys working closely with aes and thrives in a pod structure where joint success matters.resilience: comfortable with rejection and able to maintain energy, positivity, and focus in a high-activity environment.mission passion: genuine enthusiasm for empowering nonprofits and driving social good.education: bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.why join vee.commission-driven work: help nonprofits unlock capacity and funding through ai-powered solutions that create real-world impact.pod-based growth: collaborate directly with aes in pods, accelerating your career path in sales.professional development: training, mentorship, and clear paths to ae or senior sales roles.collaborative culture: join a passionate, diverse, and supportive team dedicated to making the world better—together.
