- your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- planning & analysis- assist refs bpa manage budget/forecast, strat plan and month-end activities for refs americas organization with main focus on the planning, monitoring and execution of investment projects
business partnering:
- partner with refs organization to evaluate and support key initiatives by thoroughly understanding the refs business
- review evolution of capital plan spend performance with us / lacan refs site heads and understand drivers of variances
- propose and work in/lead projects to improve profitability and efficiency and provide due cost transparency
- fulfill timely and accurate monthly/periodic reporting requirements for refs, global and us / lacan stakeholders
- ensure good accounting and practices in line with novartis accounting manual (nam), mal/fiko, investment guidelines and approvals process, all finance forms (e.g. Is40), sops, pop policy.

*requisitos mínimos*
- bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, cpa or mba a plus
- 5 - 7 years finance, accounting, controlling/ business planning & analysis experience preferred
- excellent excel / powerpoint, sap (r3/bw/fico) and bpc skills or other integrated spreadsheet analytical tool experience
- knowledge of financial and general accounting practices & principles required
- strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate with all levels of organization
- flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a positive and timely manner
