*about the role*:
as a*payroll specialist*, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our unionized workforce in monterrey. Your work will directly impact employee satisfaction and operational efficiency, contributing to a positive workplace experience.
*key responsibilities*:
as a payroll specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
- managing payroll for unionized personnel
- capturing and calculating employee sick leave and disability (incapacidades)
- receiving and processing weekly payroll incidents
- reconciling and validating overtime
- processing weekly payroll runs
- handling employee terminations
- performing general ledger (gl) reconciliations
- managing saving fund reconciliations
*requirements*:

*as a minimum, you must have*:
- experience in payroll processing, preferably with unionized employees
- knowledge of mexican labor laws and payroll regulations
- strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- proficiency in payroll systems and microsoft excel
- ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*although not necessary, it would be nice if you have*:
- experience with utec-mx or similar payroll platforms
- prior experience in a multinational company
- intermediate to advanced english proficiency
