the core equity research team helps portfolio and risk managers in the top financial institutions of the world to better analyze, construct and rebalance the portfolios that most sophisticated investors (asset owners like pension funds, asset managers, hedge funds, broker/dealers, etc.,) of the world invest in.
We achieve this by researching, developing and publishing factor models, stand-alone alpha factors and other analytic tools that allow our clients to better understand the risks involved in portfolio management. Additionally, these tools help identifying the impact of market events in their investments.
We follow a rigorous, statistical and scientific process to assess potential for future returns, individual asset risks and the correlations among assets that allow investors to benefit from diversification.

*your key responsibilities*
- contribute in the development and testing of factor models
- research and identify new factors for both risk and premia
- use machine learning techniques and nlp to obtain new insights about clients investments and portfolios and their performance in the current and future market conditions
- help writing technical documents, present findings to internal audiences and explain our models to clients and colleagues
- study risk and performance of client portfolios to provide ideas and insights on how to improve their management
- incorporate esg and climate data into the analysis and construction of portfolios
- investigate new trends and instruments that are changing the investment industry like digital assets (i.e. blockchain, crypto, tokenized assets, defi, etc.,) among others
*your skills and experience that will help you excel*
- very good grasp of graduate level mathematics and statistics
- very good command of programming languages like python, r, matlab or c++
- communication skills (oral and written)
- disposition and ability to learn new things
- innovative, collaborative, entrepreneurial, diverse and inclusive culture
- experience working with statistical models is highly preferred
- demonstrable knowledge of finance or progress towards cfa or frm viewed very positively
- good organizational skills and attention to detail
