In this job, your responsibilities will include accomplishing tasks within the lead time for the import/export process according to each internal customer and type of operation, tracking and following up on import and export shipments, managing trade compliance programs, preparing reports, reconciliations, and monthly metrics.in this role, your responsibilities will be:follow-up of foreign trade operationsmanagement of customs brokers and carrierscommunication and follow-up with internal customers and suppliersensuring compliance with programs such as archer, audits, reviews, and proceduresparticipating in oea projectsmaintaining and complying with established metrics:areacarrierscustoms brokerpreparing reconciliations such as inventory, sat reports (glosa), and commercial invoice conciliationsdelivering monthly presentationsmanaging logistics/cass and sco program reconciliations, trainings, and troubleshootingparticipating in audits and self-audit programsrequirements for this role include:bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international business, or a closely related field3-4 years of experience in foreign trade, with expertise in:customs law, regulations, government permits, and mexican rulesoea certificationrgceimmex programannex 22, annex 24, annex 30iva & ieps, ctpat certificationmanagement of electronic foreign trade filesexperience handling customs brokers and carriersability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environmentstrong collaboration and teamwork skillseffective communication skills across organizational levelsorganizational and prioritization skills, with problem-solving abilitiescapability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing prioritiesability to work under pressureour culture and commitment to youat emerson, we value a workplace where every employee is respected, valued, and empowered to grow.
