About the Job
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and HACCP plan.
- Ensuring continuous compliance with ISO 22000 certification standards.
- Conducting inspections of kitchens, restaurants, and back-of-house areas to monitor hygiene and sanitation.
- Coordinating with the Executive Chef on investigations of possible foodborne illness cases.
- Tracking and recording supplier hygiene certifications in collaboration with Procurement.
- Designing and delivering hygiene and food safety trainings in coordination with Learning & Development.
- Supporting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Qualifications / Skills
- Monitoring industry best practices to maintain benchmark standards.
- Diploma/Certificate in Food Safety, Hygiene, or related field.
- Knowledge and certification in HACCP and ISO 22000.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in food hygiene and sanitation within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with local and federal Food Safety regulations.
- Experience with FSMS implementation and audits.
- Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Commitment to guest and colleague wellbeing, with a customer-first approach.
