*description*:
make purchases and supplies of material directly for the production area, in such a way as to ensure continuity according to the production program and have zero online stoppages due to material shortages.
*key responsibilities*:
- review of mrp requirements, placement, expedition, cancellation and rescheduling of purchase orders.
- in case of short material for production, follow up and ensure that it arrives on time. Lead with the departments involved until the material is delivered.
- provide feedback on shorts in appropriate reports such as shortages report and expedite report.
- maintain inventory at optimal levels according to needs.
- in case of obsolete inventory, keep the information updated in the quarterly obsolete report and follow up on the disposition of the same within the department.
- review of production requirements by means of mrp in jde.
- analysis of price variations resulting from material purchases; in the annual variation report as well as in the reports of placed orders (buyer exception report).
- follow-up to the first articles (fai).
- obtaining quality certificates for the products you apply.
- provide complete information and documentation to the import/export area for the import of raw materials. As well as certificates of origin (nafta) at the beginning of the year.
- coordination of shipments of franklin raw material and/or packaging material
- meet the quality objectives of the position and support the company's strategic objectives.
- comply with the guidelines of the quality system.
- carry out their work with quality, complying with the required standards
- you must keep the company's own tools and equipment in good condition, clean and safe to work with.
- participation in the company's continuous improvement projects.
- follow up on the corrective actions of the quality system.
- fulfill the relevant roles assigned by management in the manner applicable. (e.g.; brigades, auditors)
