The marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the hotels brand awareness drive revenue growth and position the property as a leading luxury destination in cancún. This role oversees digital marketing branding pr advertising and promotional campaigns while ensuring alignment with the hotels business objectives.
key responsibilities:
1. Marketing strategy & brand management:
* develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the hotels luxury positioning dining outlets spa events and guest experiences.
* maintain and strengthen the hotels brand identity ensuring consistency across all channels (website social media print etc.).
* monitor market trends competitor activities and customer insights to adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Digital marketing & online presence:
* understanding of the hotels digital marketing efforts including seo/sem email marketing paid advertising (google ads meta etc.) and content strategy.
* lead social media strategy (instagram facebook linkedin tiktok etc.) engaging with influencers and generating visually compelling content.
3. Public relations & media relations:
* collaborate with pr agencies and media outlets to secure coverage in luxury travel publications blogs and broadcast channels.
* organize press trips fam tours and media events to showcase the hotels offerings.
* handle crisis communications and maintain a positive brand reputation.
4. Advertising & promotions:
* plan and execute multi-channel advertising campaigns (print digital ota partnerships etc.).
* develop seasonal promotions packages and partnerships with luxury brands or local attractions.
* monitor campaign performance and roi adjusting strategies as needed.
5. Content creation & storytelling:
* supervise the production of high-quality visual and written content (photos videos blogs newsletters).
* ensure all marketing materials reflect the hotels luxury standards and appeal to target audiences (leisure travelers honeymooners corporate clients etc.).
6. Analytics & reporting:
* track kpis (website traffic conversion rates social engagement revenue impact) and prepare regular reports for management.
* use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and budget allocation.
qualifications :
* qualifications & skills:
* bachelors degree in marketing communications hospitality or related field.
* 3 years of marketing experience preferably in luxury hotels boutique hotels or tourism.
* strong expertise in digital marketing (seo sem social media email automation tools).
* proficiency in analytics tools (google analytics meta business suite crm systems).
* excellent communication skills in english and spanish (written and spoken).
* creative thinker with strong project management and leadership abilities.
* knowledge of the cancún/riviera maya market and key travel industry trends

* experience with luxury hospitality brands.
* familiarity with hotel pms/crs systems (e.g. Opera canva).
