you will work with a global team of engineers delivering software solutions that support gp's wood & fiber supply (wfs) team.
wfs sources lumber on behalf of our facilities, which is a critical input to all our manufacturing processes.
the suite of applications maintained by the team supports corporate and facility-specific capabilities, providing a variety of experiences and opportunities to obtain knowledge of our business and impact wfs' performance.

we focus on delivering profitable business outcomes by partnering with business analysts, delivery leaders, and quality engineers to build the right solution at the right speed.what you will do · design, develop, test, and maintain custom software solutions that support high-value business outcomes.· collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, scrum masters, and other engineers.· identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.· recommend targeted technical explorations to reduce technical debt and accelerate feature delivery.· lead and participate in code review sessions with peers and provide feedback to achieve desired code quality outcomes.· ensure applications follow security best practices and regulatory requirements.· participate in scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement.· enhance the team's technical and domain knowledge by sharing insights, best practices, and documentation.· develop and contribute reusable assets to gp's enterprise solution accelerators repository to improve efficiency and consistency.not a task listwho you are (basic qualifications)· proven experience developing software applications using vb.net or c# web forms or windows forms.· proficiency in sql server database development, including designing tables, views, and stored procedures.· hands-on experience supporting and maintaining business-critical applications in production environments.· proficiency in developing apis adhering to decoupled architecture concepts.· familiarity with agile principles and devops concepts.· experience building and supporting applications in aws cloud environment.what will put you ahead · proficiency in developing applications using react.· experience developing mobile applications.· knowledge of managing and maintaining web applications running on windows server.· familiarity with as400 or db2 databases.· experience developing applications in a distributed delivery environment.· background in integrating applications with plcs.· strong understanding of writing unit tests for critical functionality to ensure reliability and performance.at koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
