*description*:
the research associate operations - shipping is responsible for coordinating seed imports and exports that occur during the seed preparation and processing season, attending to all generated shipments of seed requested from cold room inventory.
Coordinates activities of personnel required for shipping activities, following up on phytosanitary compliance by attending to inspections by approved third parties.
Also maintains close communication with the rest of the areas to ensure the flow of imported and exported materials and compliance with planting dates.
Key requirements for the role are the availability to travel and english proficiency.
Responsibilities:
- follow up the imports to have on time in the site, shipment creation with the apps of the company.
- communication with custom broker.
- receive shipment on site and registrations in the system.
- follow up issues with shipments pending to arrive.
- seed tracking information.
- communication with key contacts.
- invoice creation.
- weekly reports of seed import and exports status.
- follow up all regulatory accomplishments.
- supervise shipping operators.

- degree in engineer, international trade, or related field.
- english proficiency.
- office apps management.
- availability to rotate shifts.
- driving licence.
