Are you a systems expert who thrives in complex, high-performance environments? Oracle’s Production Services team is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Systems Administrator (IC3) to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our production systems powering critical business operations.
This is a hands-on role that blends deep Linux systems expertise with automation and cloud infrastructure knowledge. You'll work with some of Oracle’s most advanced technologies, helping us support massive growth while maintaining uptime and performance at cloud scale.
This role is ideal for someone with 4+ years of experience in systems administration and a passion for optimizing infrastructure at scale.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong Linux system administration experience (preferably in cloud or large-scale environments)
Solid scripting skills in Python and Bash/Shell
Understanding of networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with monitoring and automation tools
Experience supporting mission-critical, highly available environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong API and networking knowledge
Nice to Have:
Exposure to Oracle technologies or OCI
Experience with CI/CD pipelines or infrastructure-as-code
Familiarity with service-level objectives (SLOs), SLAs, and KPIs in a production setting
Experience with Automation

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, often acting as the escalation point for high-impact incidents.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and resources to drive resolution of critical infrastructure issues.
Support infrastructure for Oracle systems and database appliances, focusing on performance, availability, and automation.
Participate in operating system upgrades, bug fixes, patching, and infrastructure standardization initiatives.
Continuously look for ways to improve system resilience, supportability, and scalability in a fast-growing environment.
Write and maintain documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures.
Provide rotational on-call support, helping maintain 24/7 uptime for production systems.
