this position has a direct impact on the company's competitive positioning and long-term growth across the region.key responsibilities:- identify and evaluate business opportunities that strengthen and expand the company's product portfolio.
- conduct in-depth market research and analysis of local and international pharmaceutical markets to uncover commercial opportunities and emerging trends.
- assess innovative technologies, business models, and products aligned with corporate strategy.
- develop and execute comprehensive business cases, including financial analysis, profitability (roi), and risk assessment.
- lead technical, legal, commercial, and financial feasibility studies for new product introductions.
- represent the company at pharmaceutical trade fairs, conferences, and networking events to build strategic partnerships.
- oversee the end-to-end execution of business development projects, from opportunity assessment to product launch.
- manage and control the department's budget, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams (quality, regulatory affairs, supply chain, patents, commercial, and business intelligence) to ensure project success.
- act as the key liaison with corporate headquarters for the identification and approval of new business opportunities.education:- bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or in a related field.
- master's degree (mba) preferred.experience:- at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, leading new business development, licensing, or strategic alliances.language(s):- advanced english proficiency.skills & knowledge:- in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market (local & international).
- understanding of regulatory and compliance processes.
- strong financial and business case analysis skills.
- excellent project management and negotiation capabilities.
- proficiency in excel, power point, and crm platforms (salesforce, xperbit, ai).
