*are you ready to lead transformation and drive operational excellence in a world-class manufacturing environment? Pepsico is looking for a passionate and strategic maintenance manager to join our team and help shape the future of our operations.*
*what’s the role about?*:
as *maintenance & technical services manager, saltillo*, you’ll lead our technical support and utilities teams, ensuring the reliable performance of our equipment and systems. Your mission: maintain seamless plant operations and continuously elevate reliability, safety, and efficiency using modern maintenance methodologies.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing operations, passionate about continuous improvement, and excited about digital transformation.
You will also be a key enabler of pepsico’s sustainability goals, ensuring full compliance with environmental and food safety management systems.
*what you’ll be doing*:
- lead and implement our *site maintenance strategy* aligned with pemm (pepsico’s maintenance excellence model).
- drive *digital transformation* and reliability-centered maintenance for world-class performance.
- manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using *sap pm*.- optimize resources, reduce downtime, and maximize technical availability across all production assets.- empower and develop your team, building strong technical capability and a culture of accountability.- lead the operation and maintenance of utilities infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient energy delivery.- monitor kpis (te, mtbf, mttr) to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
- ensure full *compliance with internal, external, and legal* inspection requirements.
*you’ll also champion our sustainability & food safety programs*:
*environmental management*:
- ensure compliance with environmental regulations and pepsico’s gehsms.- support internal audits and continuous improvement of our environmental systems.
*food safety*:
- enforce and improve standards across all food safety processes.- foster a culture of safety and quality across the plant.
*qualifications*
*who are we looking for?*:
*basic qualifications*:
- bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related).- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.- 5+ years of experience in maintenance leadership roles.- advanced proficiency in english and spanish.- strong strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and operational discipline.- experience with sap, excel, and digital tools.
- plc experience- basic to intermediate control and plc knowledge- maintenance planning- resource management- passion for developing talent and leading high-performing teams.
