purpose of the job
ensures the ba's technological level is up to date, conducting studies and implementing global procedures and techniques and the selection of hardware, software, and procedures. All these activities, coordinated with local, regional and global it teams.
responsibilities
* infrastructure maintenance & operations: monitor and maintain the health of all local servers, networks, and hardware components to ensure zero or minimal downtime.
* lifecycle management: manage the deployment, configuration, and eventual.
* ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
* troubleshooting: act as the final point of escalation for complex technical issues within the designated area.
* strategic modernization & r&d: technological audits, continuous improvement, process implementation, procurement & resource management, vendor selection, supply chain oversight, budgeting.
* security coordination: collaborate with it teams to integrate security considerations into operational processes, coordinate security awareness training for it staff and end-users, act as a liaison between it operations and security teams, coordinate with vendors on security related issues.
* application upgrade: monitor it systems application to secure / keep the latest upgrade possible by implemented; analyze local applications to secure legal compliance and system vulnerabilities; ensure compliance with latest legal legislation and local regulations; develop and maintain documentation related to operational security procedures.
* reporting/monitoring: elaborate monthly report to know the main topics ongoing in the country; have regular meetings with smr it country staff to know the topics ongoing in the rest of latam region and present the ones ongoing in the country; monitor & tracking of global procedures implemented in smr, securing the local implementation in country.
required competencies
* bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (it or administration)
* process development education.
* itil foundation certification.
* minimum 5-7 years' experience of work within the specific area.
* language: fluent english (spoken and written).
* customer service orientation.
* human skills: collaborative mindset, team-oriented approach and spirit of cooperation.
