In this role, you will play a key part in delivering critical backbone infrastructure projects, including data center migrations, fiber deployments, and capacity upgrades. Working within a fast-paced, multivendor ecosystem, you will manage supplier relationships and help ensure the timely and successful delivery of services.
*core responsibilities*
- lead and execute data center and customer circuit migrations.
- coordinate with third-party providers to install new fiber and deliver services (e.g., tails, cross-connects).
- work closely with field technicians to verify fiber patching and physical connectivity.
- validate fiber connections and troubleshoot issues related to dwdm backbone link onboarding.
- manage escalations and drive resolution for high-impact infrastructure issues.
- ensure timely and quality delivery of backbone orders by staying on top of supplier commitments.
- perform network configuration and troubleshooting using cli across various network operating systems (cisco ios, junos, arista eos).
*requirements*:
- solid experience in network infrastructure projects, especially data center migrations and fiber installations.
- hands-on experience with cli in a multivendor environment (cisco ios, junos, arista eos).
- familiarity with dwdm systems for verification and troubleshooting of fiber connectivity.
- proven ability to manage suppliers and coordinate service delivery (e.g., fiber, tails, cross-connects).
- strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- effective communication and coordination skills across internal teams and external partners.

- certifications such as ccna, ccnp, or equivalent (not mandatory but appreciated).
- experience with other network technologies and equipment.
- familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
