Commercial Director Job Description

As a senior leader, you will spearhead commercial execution and lead high-performing teams to drive business growth. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent on-site with the remaining 40% in an office environment.

You will develop and implement strategic commercial plans for Mexico aligned with the company's mission, vision, and leadership direction. Key responsibilities include building, leading, and developing sales and wholesale organizations.

Expand wholesale business through territory models while scaling growth with strategic accounts. Develop and execute business plans for current and prospect accounts to ensure sustained growth and profitability.

Lead high-level negotiations with key clients, sales agencies, retail partners, and sport leagues/teams. Identify new market opportunities across wholesale, multi-brand, and digital channels.

Monitor performance indicators such as revenue growth, profitability, market share, and sell-through. Research and establish commercial policies including pricing strategies and payment terms.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial initiatives are integrated and executed effectively. Oversee collection launches and promotional campaigns to drive brand visibility and sales.

Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to influence product development and assortment planning. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders.

Ensure operational excellence in order management, delivery performance, and customer experience. Mitigate crises and manage problems with customers at all levels.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial or sales leadership roles within fashion, apparel, or FMCG industries.

Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and experience in building and executing go-to-market strategies. Deep understanding of wholesale and retail sales channels in Mexico and experience in local client management.
