He/she manages one or several of the following activities:
- welcome delivery trucks to logistics or production line side areas.
- ensure the right delivery of the right product, to the right address with the right documentation according to the product type.
- check parcel physical condition and manage customs area.
- visually check the parcel to look for any damage on the packaging and manage non conformities if needed.
- check collected products.
- ensure all products in storage area are properly identified with associated labelling and “goods receipt” slip.
- ensure accompanying documentation remains with the product.
- check that documents correspond to the correct warehouse and to the correct batch of product.
- respect the specific required storage condition (appropriate location, product characteristics)
- respect storage incompatibility between products.
- ensure that product is protected and avoids the contact of:
- metal to metal components,
- metal component to concrete floor,
- metal component to metal rack/container.
