this is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in mexico. There is also a high level of travel required in the position.
what you will do
* configure kinaxis maestro software based on customer business requirements, ensuring solution configurations are of high quality, aligned with user stories, and completed in accordance with project timelines.
* apply increasingly complex mathematical models to improve customer supply chain performance and achieve business objectives.
* update solution documentation and contribute to process improvements for future documentation requirements.
* execute the validation and testing of the solution, capture user feedback and consult the solution architect or senior solution consultants on the best approach to resolve roadblocks.
* participate in deployment workshops with customers with a focus on guiding and training end users on how the maestro solution was configured in relation to their business requirements and how to achieve immediate value from their investment.
* provide continued support to the customer during the testing phase of the project to ensure the customer understands the solution and how it integrates into their supply chain management objectives and practices.
* explain product value and common supply chain concepts, industry trends and best practices to project team members and customer teams.
* see to any other reasonable project-related task assigned.
what we are looking for
primary skills and qualifications
* bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, operations research, computer science, computer engineering, statistics, information technology or a related field.
* passion for working in customer-facing roles with strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
* 3–5 years of progressive experience in software implementations or deployments in the supply chain planning or supply chain execution space, or business experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or manufacturing.
* self-starter with initiative who can excel in a fast-paced environment.
* excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills; able to synthesize a high volume of complex information to determine the best course of action.
* ability to work in a team and with people at all levels; previous experience managing external stakeholders such as customers and executive sponsors.
* ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple team members.
* ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
role specific skills and experience
* experience with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions (e.g., maestro, sap, oracle, blue yonder) to support supply chain activities.
* facilitation experience in needs, requirements and analysis sessions with customers and end users.
* proven experience applying supply chain best practices in forecasting, mrp, constraint management, and production scheduling.
* some proficiency in sql, r and/or javascript.
* open to travel ~75% on average and up to 100% occasionally; comfortable working remotely from client sites.
