essential duties and responsibilities
* control and improve the inventory levels required by gates de mexico and the customer, ensure 100% customer deliveries, supervise, and approve gates de mexico purchases for the benefit of gates de mexico.
* manage the materials department, always looking for the benefit of the employee and the company, purchase materials, equipment, and services in accordance with established regulations and policies.
* develop sources of supply, prepare bids or tenders, plan the entire supply chain process of the plant, plan the production of the plant, as well as the materials to be purchased.
* define the plant's inventory strategy, define the plant's logistics and service strategy.
* ensure that all control activities and products in the sox (inventory, purchasing & payables) matrix are accurate and run continuously on a documented basis.

* inventory and warehouse management knowledge
* advanced excel

* general knowledge of customer portals (e.g., various named systems)
