Senior vendor manager ppl, retail

as a seasoned professional in category management and vendor relations, you will have the opportunity to take on a pivotal role in driving business growth and excellence.

the ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a passion for delivering results-driven solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

* main responsibilities:
* owning the profit and loss (p&l) for multiple categories and vendors, ensuring top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
* developing strategic relationships with new and existing suppliers to gain early insight into emerging trends and products, and to negotiate competitive costs and exclusive access to new items.
* driving winning negotiations and representing the company when meeting with vendor senior leadership.
* leading cross-functional teams to drive superior category and vendor performance.

requirements:

to be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
* proven experience presenting to senior leadership and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
* fluency in both english and spanish.
* a bachelor's degree.
