Global investment performance standards (gips) reporting – consultant – americas delivery mexico (admx)

As an experienced global investment performance standards (gips) reporting consultant you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Americas delivery mexico(admx) leverages scale and talent to provide high quality, cost-effective service to our clients.

work you'll do/responsibilities

as a consultant at deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for

supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with

stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform

independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team

members, as needed.

• manage and execute scheduled activities (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) that

replate to composite reporting for ~800 composites, ensuring adherence to the gips standards and client related policies and procedures.

• fulfill ad hoc requests including new client mandates, due diligence, and rfp responses as

routed through the gips shared inbox.

• understand client guidelines and strategy definitions (both new and updates to) for composite

alignment

• employ statpro, excel automation, and ongoing development of a new python-based rule engine to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• conduct reviews and reconciliations of gips deliverables, flagging errors and coordinating

root cause analysis for iso compliance.

• support and participate in gips annual verification cycles, process documentation required for

verification, and technology transformations (statpro to rule engine transition).

• liaise with internal data owners and compliance for composite data validation and ensure

outputs satisfy all regulatory and audit standards.

• document process updates, template adjustments, and training outcomes across

shifts—maintaining up-to-date sops/process maps.

• provide recommendations to policy and procedure updates for alignment with the gips standards.

• recommend process, coverage, or technology enhancements to address risks and resourcing gaps as volume and global coverage demands scale.

qualifications required

• 3-5+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.

• completion of coursework (egresado) in any pertinent field or industry.

• responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks.

• advanced english level.

• experience in gips reporting, investment performance analytics, or compliance experience in

asset management.

• familiarity and understanding of security level details particularly fixed income and equity

securities.

• familiarity with statpro or similar performance software required.

• excellent communication skills and ability to support global operations

• deep understanding of investment management products types (e.g., mutual funds, exchange traded funds, interval funds, closed end funds).

preferred:

• cfa, cipm, or progress toward a gips-relevant credential is strongly preferred.

• advanced excel, with skills in vba/macros/automation; python experience a plus.

• strong process documentation skills and detail orientation; exposure to iso processes is

helpful.
