As a translator in fast-paced fashion retail, you ensure that the stores in your country get the information translated for them to get inspired.
you are responsible to drive your own goals and strategy in line with your country goals.
together with the sales team you lead, support and guide the areas and store teams to deliver the most inspiring and exciting shopping experience through the information translated making sure you maintain the original meaning, format and tone.
you meet the expectations of customers' and colleagues at all times, as well as following h&m procedures and standards.

selling
you ensure that you enhance the visual presentation in all stores through providing the translation of the visual guidelines and visual competences trainings.
you share trainings and visual guidelines updates translated in the local language to the areas and stores to maximize the commercial opportunities.
you share with head office feedback that will drive the business forward.
ensure sales/profit and branding experience by having the customer as the priority while creating the best omni experience.
you will provide ready-to-use translated content that meets our internal needs and helps us reach our country goals.
- you interpret written and audio pieces in different local language, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format and tone (font and structure)
- ensure reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work.
cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
- proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- you will provide ready-to-use translated content that meets our internal needs and helps us reach a broader audience.
- follow up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs.
- you convert text and audio recordings from one english to spanish
- prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
- ensure a good time management to be able to send the information on time.
- support with building shop info and local packs that will drive sales in our markets.
- has full knowledge of ho guidelines, legal requirements, and best practices
fashion knowledge
- ensure you are up to date with current fashion trends, styling techniques so you can anticipate your customer's needs.
- share and inspire the area teams on seasonal fashion information through the translated books.
customer service
- assure the level for direct and indirect service is according to h&m standards.
organization
- personal planning must be up-to-date and secure to take time to read and understand all visual guidelines.
- regular collaboration with regional & support office visual teams through the information interpreted
team
as part of so visual team in your market, you guide and coach the area and store management to lead their teams to increase the shopping and working experience.
training & development
- ensure that all training materials are clear and easy to understand, quality assure translation in keeping the company meanings.

*what you'll need to succeed*:
- spanish & english fluency required
- 3+ years of experience in visual area
- previous leadership experience including leading other leaders in a retail environment
- knowledge of all disciplines within area visual and communications
- great communication and team collaboration skills
- organizational skills with high attention to detail and structure
- capacity to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
